Why celebrate Super Teachers?

Teachers are in a unique position to influence the lives of those they teach. Often, they will never know the impact they have had and that’s why we want to celebrate them now.

What some high achievers say about their teachers…

“When I was a student, I was lucky to have some inspiring teachers—including a wonderful librarian when I was in the fourth grade and a chemistry teacher in high school—who challenged me and brought out my best. They helped make me the person I am today.”
~Bill Gates

“His name was Henry Tillott… he let me have the run of the physics laboratory out of hours. He was a really good teacher and showed me, actually, how easy physics was.”
~Jocelyn Bell Burnell
