St Anthony's Primary - Pahiatua - 2 kw

Although St Anthony's is a small rural school we have a huge commitment to improving the environment for not only ourselves but our whole community. We are delighted to be a part of the Schoolgen Programme and we are looking forward to the interest it creates and the learning opportunities that grow from it.

The installation of solar panels on the roof will act as a great catalyst for us, and our community to look at ways to use our energy and resources more efficiently and effectively.

Since the first installation in October 2009 we have decided to install a second 2kW photovoltaic array, so we now have a total capacity of 4 kilowatts of PV !

Check out the generation of the second array installed in June 2013 here.
